Cat on a Hot Tin Roof - UWSP Play -
Saturday, October 20, 2018
7:30 p.m.

Studio Theatre - USWP Noel Fine Arts Center - Click for Mapquest Map
1800 Portage St
Stevens Point, WI 54481

Saturday October 20th dinner and a play.

We'll begin with dinner at 5:15 at PJ's SentryWorld Restaurant, 601 N Michigan Ave, Stevens Point then proceed to the Studio Theater in the UWSP Noel Fine Arts Center for the 7:30 production of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. We can meet just outside the theater.

While the Pollitt family celebrates the 65th birthday of its crude and bombastic patriarch Big Daddy, a storm is brewing in the bedroom of its golden boy Brick and his wife Maggie. Big Daddy is secretly dying of cancer, and Maggie is determined to keep Brick's older brother and his wife from cutting them out of the inheritance - 28,00 acres of the richest land this side of the Valley Nile! But a deep, dark wound is keeping the liquor-soaked Brick and the hopelessly devoted Maggie from playing on the same team... Williams' beloved drama has thrilled audiences for decades with its sensuality, humor, and raw examination of mendacity, desire and death. After all, what is the victory of a cat on a hot tin roof?

Please RSVP to joetylka@yahoo.com by October 1st as tickets sell out quickly. Ticket cost is $23 and checks made out to CWN can be sent to Joe Tylka, 4591 DuBay Drive, Mosinee, WI 54455.
