SENSE AND SENSIBILITY
When reputation is everything, how do you follow your heart? A modern twist on the Jane Austen classic!
Based on a novel by Jane Austen. Adapted by Kate Hammill. Guest Director Jessica Lanius.
A playful new adaption of Jane Austen's beloved novel following the fortunes (and misfortunes) of the Dashwood sisters -- sensible Elinor and hypersensitive Marianne -- after their father's sudden death leaves them financially destitute and socially vulnerable. Set in gossipy late 18th-century England, with a fresh female voice, the play is full of humor emotional depth, and bold theatricality.
Please RSVP to joetylka@yahoo.com by February 26 for dinner reservations. Seating will be limited and is not assigned so ticket purchase can be on your own. Tickets can be purchased on the UWSP Box Office website. https://uwsptickets.universitytickets.com/w/. Cost is $26 or $23 senior. Hope to see you there!
