The Prez Sez:

We are hoping for a good turnout at our Halloween Dance this Friday at the Moose Lodge. Please tell your friends; we need a good turnout to sustain our dance schedule.

Thanks to Nancy Hansen, we had an excellent dine-out and book discussion last Friday evening. After the dine-out, Nancy offered a tasty spread of treats and a variety of drinks available to all participants at her lovely home.

CWN BOOK CLUB MEETING – Lunch & Discussion on Monday, December 1st

BOOK: The Heaven & Earth Grocery Store: A Novel by James McBride

Best Book of the Year by NPR/Fresh Air, Washington Post, The New Yorker, & Time Magazine

DATE: December 1st, Monday

TIME: 12:00 PM Noon Lunch followed by 1:30 PM Discussion.

PLACE Dean & Sara’s House

LOCATION: 145223 Squirrel Lane, 5 miles west of Rib Mountain off Hwy N.

Notes from Dean, “Lunch/eat at noon. We will provide a 'make-your-own-sandwich' buffet. BYO preferred drink, otherwise drinks will be provided. Also, bring a small dessert to share. If you'd like, ice cream will be provided, of course! Come for lunch, or discussion, or both! Stay for the discussion, even if you haven't read the book. We'd like to see you! The Book discussion will begin at 1:30, sharp!”
